How did you learn to play poker ? (Discussion)

Much like the rest of my peers, I was sucked into the TV coverage. Next thing I found myself buying a version of the World Series of Poker for my PS2. Then I sat at a table with my friends and realized losing a few dollars to spend some good hours with the boys was worth it. Soon enough, I realized winning some money to spend time with my friends was better. I still have never sat at a Casino table.

Here’s my shameful secret- I never really learned to play poker.
I figured out the basics, but not any of the actual betting rules. Plus I don’t know anything about different types of pokers (like that hold’em things). I still occasionally play with my friends, pretending I know exactly what’s going on, just for fun, but I’m actually going blind about it. Talk about a poker face…
